SYMCON Wide Area Surveillance and Protection (WASP) solutions utilising a range of next generation detection sensors and artificial intelligence to prevent and protect against unauthorised intrudes, vehicles and drones.

The SYMCON WASP solutions deliver a high degree of assurance and resilience to prevent perimeter beaches in all weathers, day and night condition. The system  automatically detects, verifies and deploys countermeasure against approaching threats.  On verification of a threat the system automatically sends out alerts to security assets, initiates self-protection measures and deploys effectors to disrupt and deter entry to critical locations.  

 

The SYMCON WASP system provides operators with real-time situation awareness to detect, verify and counter approaching threats. The system includes automatic: detection, threat recognition, cueing of available cameras and deployment of protection measures.

 

The WASP system utilises a range of detection measures including perimeter radars, infra-red detectors, acoustic and seismic sensors and video motion. The WASP primary detection sensors are next generation solid state, high resolution radars, these have been specifically developed as persistent perimeter detection sensors that can simultaneous detect, monitor and track fast and slow-moving targets in all-weather, day and night conditions.
